Our Warming Planet

'I have seen for myself over my lifetime how we’ve altered the face of the Earth. Global warming is the humanitarian emergency of today.’

 Louise is a founder director of the Global Warming Alliance, a research and campaigning group set up in 2005 to examine the effects of our warming planet with particular focus on the changes taking place in the atmosphere.

Her challenge, as she saw it, was to find a way to influence public opinion in support of reducing carbon emissions.

Believing that women are becoming increasingly influential in consumer decisions, she designed and spearheaded the Hot Women Campaign devoted to encourage women's joint efforts to seek solutions and reduce carbon emissions..

This has resulted in an online campaign with participation from over fifty different countries.

Over the past five years she has written and given talks on the humanitarian consequences of climate change at schools, conferences and via broadcasts on a range of internet TV station, radio and in the media.
