Biography - Louise Burfitt-Dons FRSA
Advocate, writer, playwright, author, encourager, empathist, persuader, founder of children's charity Act Against Bullying, mother, futurist, environmental broadcaster, inspirational and motivational speaker.
Born Louise Byres in Kuwait on 22 October 1953, Louise lived out her formative years in the oil-rich sheikhdom before returning to school in the UK. She met and married her New Zealander husband Donald, an airline pilot, in 1983.. She was working as a professional actress in Australia when her first play ‘The Counsellor’ was produced in 1986 in Sydney. She moved to France after her husband’s retirement from flying, returning to the UK in 1994.
Louise and Donald live in London. They have two daughters, Brooke and Arabella.
